Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Hospital maternity ward is located on the first floor and access to that is possible either by elevator or the main stairs.
• 24-hour delivery room with the continuous presence of midwives for preliminary examinations, as well as training and guidance of the pregnant women conducted in person and over the phone). Pulse oximeter, Sony kit, Negatoscope,hot and coldfumigation.
Delivery room features:
An isolation room,a private delivery room with the possibility of having a companion(a spouse), a preeclampsiaroom, 2 delivery beds ,a room for staying two hours after delivery.
Labor room:
Labor room with 6 beds for clients is located in the center of the ward, with six windows facing to the outside world which has given a pleasant and bright atmosphere to the ward,also there are special bathrooms, an LCD and a refrigerator for the convenience of pregnant mother. Beside each bed there is a special partition for keeping the privacy of patients.

Client’s admission room:
It is at the entrance of the ward and equipped with ultrasound machine, diagnosis and gynecological beds.

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) room 1 (LDR) preeclampsia:
This room is located beside the labor room and is considered for patients with high blood pressure, diabetes or pregnant women under supervision and is equipped with an LCD and a refrigerator. Clients can have a companion by their side.

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) room 2:
This room is beside the labor room and is for patients with infectious diseases (influenza, hepatitis B, AIDS, etc.) it has an LCD and a separate WC for the welfare of patients.

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) room3:
Located at the entrance of maternity ward and it is physiological delivery room. This room is for clients who are willing to labor beside their husbands. It is equipped with gynecological beds, an LCD and aseparate bathroom.

Normal vaginal delivery room:
Includes two separate gynecological beds. Patients at the time of labor are transferred to this room and in the presence of doctors and midwives go through the process of labor.( Presence of the husband in the time of labor is at doctor’s discretion).It is equipped with Electroconvulsive, three fetal monitors, central oxygen, central suction, portable oxygen, portable suction, pulse oximeter.
Postnatal room:
It is equipped with two beds and clients after delivery are taken care of in here for 2 hours and also they could be visited by some companions(relatives).

Childbirth preparation classes:
A summary of the measures taken in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology:
Outpatient services are conducted by providing midwifery services and evaluation the condition of mother during pregnancy up to 42 days after delivery. Clients hospitalization can be conducted directly or through the emergency room or gynecologist's office.
